Identification
Adults can grow up to 130 cm in length. Large triangular head with ridge between eyes and nose. Yellow to orange eyes. Coloration bright green with white to yellow stripe on lower flanks. Skin turquoise and black.
Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-east Asia, from central and eastern Thailand to south Laos, extreme north Cambodia and south-central Vietnam. Lives in rainforests and grasslands with bushes, close to water, up to 1200 m.

Status : The species has a fairly large range and is locally common. It could be threatened by water pollution and habitat loss in the future.
