Identification
Adults can grow up to 110 cm in length. Slender body with prehensile tail, triangular head with slightly upturn round nose. Coloration is bright green with yellow belly and sides of head. Large red to yellow eyes, red tail.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-east Asia, from Myanmar to south China, south to north Peninsular Malaysia and west of Java. Lives in all kinds of habitats including forests, parks, urban area, plantations, woodlands.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species is widespread and locally common in its very large range. It can adapt to a certain degree of habitat changes.
