Identification
The species reaches a total length of about 78 cm. Small roundish head with large eyes and vertical pupils, slender body. Coloration light beige with dark round blotches on back and flanks. Very poorly known species.

Range and habitat
This species is endemic to the Island of Madagascar and occurs in the dry areas of south-east, far south and south-west parts. Lives in arid shrublands, spiny forests and areas with baobab trees.

Status : The species isn’t believe to be facing any threats currently. It is adaptable and found in a variety of habitats.
