Identification
Adults can grow to about 90 cm in length. Very long prehensile tail, long and thin head. Coloration is variable, from nearly yellow to dark yellowish-green with black bands (scattered with clear spots) forming chevrons on back.
Range and habitat
The species occurs in Australasia and is endemic to the island of Misool, off Papua-New Guinea. Lives in lowland rainforests, habitat poorly studied on Misool.

Status : The species hasn’t been studied in the wild but it is known to have a very small range. Vulnerable to overtrapping for the trade and to deforestation.
