Identification
Total length of 16 cm, including a 12 cm tail. Long and narrow snout. Head and first half of back grayish with a white band from lip to flanks. Sides of head blue. Rest of body green with brown limbs and tail. Females duller.
Range and habitat
The species is endemic to the island of Hispaniola and only found on the southern parts of Haiti. Lives in montane forests and scrublands, adjacent lowlands.
