Identification
Adults can grow to a wingspan of 8 cm. Body is whitish-blue with black stripe on each body segment. Wing coloration is blue with rows of black spots forming lines on both wings. Small yellow area on tornus of hindwing.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-East Asia, from south Myanmar and Thailand to peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo. This subspecies lives in mainland southeast Asia. Found in lowland and hill forests, also forest clearings.

Status : The status of this species hasn’t been assessed but it seems to be numerous in its wide range. Declines possible because of deforestation.
