Identification
The species reaches a wingspan of 5.5 cm. Grey-white body. Females are dark grey with white bands on upperside and yellowish-brown with white bands on underside. Males are white with black veins on both sides (brighter underside).

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-East Asia, from east India to Vietnam, south to Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore. Lives in open forests, woodlands and rural areas.

IUCN RED LIST : NOT LISTED
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species is widespread and very common, even in cities such as Singapore. Its status hasn’t been assessed by the IUCN so far.
