Identification
Adults can reach a wingspan of 8 cm. Forewings are sharply pointed and hindwings show elongated tail. Underside looking like dead leaf, upperside bright blue and orange (band is wavy). White dot in black zone distinct from orange band.

Range and habitat
This subspecies occurs in central and south Thailand. Species found from north India to western and central China, south to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Lives in moist broadleaf forests and other forests, generally above 800 meters.

CITES : Not listed
Status : The species status hasn’t been assessed yet but its dependence to humid forests could make it vulnerable to loss of habitat. Collected for the trade.
