Identification
Adults reach a wingspan between 6 and 8 cm. Upperwing brown with a line of large white spots for males. Females are paler with light blue area on edge of wings. Underside is pale brown with oblique white bar. Short body, large eyes.
Range and habitat
The species occurs from Assam (east India) to Myanmar, south to Peninsular Malaysia, western Indonesia and Palawan. Subspecies found in Peninsular Malaysia. Lives in heavy lowland tropical rainforests.

Status : The species hasn’t been assessed but doesn’t seem to be threatened by deforestation so far. It has a very large range.
