Identification
Body length of 120 cm, shoulder height of 70 cm, weight of 30 kg. Small curved horns. Pelage grey to grey-brown, dark band on back and short black tail. Yellow to dirty white patch on throat. Clear lower legs, belly and face.
Range and habitat
The species lives in eastern Asia and found only in China, from Sichuan to Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Fujian and in south China to Yunnan and Xizang. Lives in steep rocky grasslands and scrub, from 1000 to 4000 m.

IUCN RED LIST : VULNERABLE
CITES : Appendix I
Status : This species is declining in most of its range because of illegal hunting. Conversion of its habitat for agriculture is also a growing threat.
