Identification
Body length of 135 cm, tail length of 85 cm, weight of 79.4 kg. One of the biggest duiker species, long legs, elongated but thin horns. Most of body is whitish with grey tinge on flanks. Neck, head and breast are entirely black.
Range and habitat
The species occurs in West Africa, in small scattered areas in Sierra Leone, Liberia and south-west Ivory Coast. Lives in closed canopy primary forests and secondary forests nearby.

IUCN RED LIST : ENDANGERED
CITES : Appendix I
Status : The species has been alarmingly declining because of illegal hunting and deforestation. Total population is less than 2000 specimens now.
