Identification
Body length of 58 cm, tail length of 61 cm, weight of 1,9 kg. Very large with long furry tail and round face. Coloration dark reddish-brown with clear area on back, rufous belly, white face with orange eye-marks. Subspecies with black feet.
Range and habitat
Subspecies found in south-central China. Species occurs from central China to Myanmar and north-west Thailand. Lives in dense hillside forests, rainforests in deep valleys, from 800 to 3500 m.
