Identification

Range and habitat
The species lives in eastern Atlantic Ocean, from Mauritania to Guinea, and western Atlantic from south Canada to Gulf of Mexico, south to Brazil. Lives in oceanic, sometimes near coasts, including estuaries, down to 22 m.
