Identification
The species grows to 6,4 cm. Dark grey-blue. Dorsal, anal and tail fins with filament on tip. Back of dorsal and full anal fins orange-yellow, tail peduncle yellow with light blue dots. Dark blotch on pectoral fin base, extending above the fin.
Range and habitat
The species occurs in the Indian Ocean, from east Africa (Kenya) to west Thailand, south to western Indonesia (Sumatra). Lives in coral reefs and rocky bottoms, from 2 to 14 meters deep.

Status : The species hasn’t been assessed by IUCN. It isn’t threatened so far but could be declining if coral reefs keep being destroyed.
