Identification
Adults can reach up to 4.6 cm in length. Compact-bodied toad with small head, pointy snout and large eyes. Coloration is generally brown, becoming greenish on sides. Dark blotches forming broken lines on back, not always visible.
Range and habitat
The species occurs in South East Asia, from South China, Hong Kong and Central Myanmar to north Thailand, Lao, Cambodia and Vietnam. Lives in rainforest edges, deciduous forests, grasslands, agricultural fields.

Status : The species has a large range but remains globally rare, even at breeding aggregations. It can be vulnerable to habitat loss.
