Identification
The species can reach a body length of 4 cm. It has a small and narrow body. Elongated triangular snout. Back is bright green, limbs are brown. Sides of head and flanks are cream with large brown to black area.
Range and habitat
The species occurs in Eastern Asia, from Bangladesh and Myanmar to south China, south to Thailand, possibly Malaysia, and northern Taiwan. Lives in open grassy wetlands, wet crop fields, swamps, rice paddies, to 800 m.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN

Status : The species occurs in several protected areas and remains at least locally common. It is vulnerable to disturbance and habitat loss.
