Identification
Adults can reach up to 9 cm in length, females being bigger than males. Very warty skin, soft belly. Coloration is mottled brown and dark green with redder areas. Eye coloration is made of a very complex color pattern.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-east Asia, mostly in northern Vietnam and possibly in adjacent south China and Laos. Lives in steep rocky cliffs cavities in primary humid forests, from 800 to 1300 m.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species has a small range and is poorly known from the wild, occurring only in scattered localities. May be overexploited for international trade.
