Identification
Adults can reach up to 7 cm in length, males being smaller than females. Large eyes with horizontal pupils and cream iris. Coloration is jade green with turquoise flanks. Clear and dark speckling, more or less visible, on back.
Range and habitat
The species is found in South East Asia, from extreme south Thailand and Malaysia to Sumatra. Lives in tropical montane evergreen forests, near rivers above 600 meters.

Status : The species doesn’t have a big range but remains at least locally common. It may become threatened by deforestation but, so far, it remains safe.
