Identification
Adults can grow up to 10 cm in length, females being larger than males. Distinctive skin ridge behind eyes. Head triangular, body flattened, smooth skin. Coloration tan-brown with conspicuous black and greyish-white stripes on legs.
Range and habitat
The species is widespread throughout the island of Borneo where it is endemic from. It occurs in the three different countries found within this island. Lives in secondary forest, forest edges, villages near trees and water, to 1100 m.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species is apparently adaptable and can occur in man-made habitats if preys and breeding sites are present. Capture for the trade still occurs.
