Identification
Large tree-frog reaching a body length of 11 cm. Large head with big gray eyes. Coloration is mostly bright green with belly gray-brown. Small dark-edged white spots on face, lower flanks and limbs.
Range and habitat
The species is found in South America, in the Amazonian Basin from south Venezuela and Guianas to Brazil, west to Peru and Bolivia. Lives in tropical rainforests and gallery forests, always near water, up to 800 m.

Status : The species has a large range and is thought to remain fairly common to locally very common. It faces no known threats.
