Identification
One of the biggest species of its genus, reaching a body length of 3.3 cm. Unmistakable. Coloration from black to nearly white with bright dark-edged yellow spots on back, head and limbs. Ventral surface of limbs and digits are orange.

Range and habitat
The species is endemic to Madagascar and can be found in the south-east parts of the island. Lives in lowland savannas, agricultural areas, rice fields, to 800 m.

Status : The species has a fairly large range and can tolerate living in a wide variety of habitats. It isn’t believed to be threatened at this time.
