Identification
Adults can reach a body length of up to 8 cm but usually smaller. Rounded snout, prominent eyes. Very warty skin on flanks, back and limbs. Coloration dark grey to beige or dark greenish with yellow spots, very clear belly.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in the Arabian Peninsula, in central Saudi Arabia, in Yemen, Oman and United Arab Emirates. Isolated population on Farasan Islands. Lives along streams, oasis, man-made pools and gardens up to 2300 m.

Status : The species has a relatively small range but can adapt to man-made structures and doesn’t suffer from loss of habitat for now.
