Identification
Small species reaching up to 3.8 cm in length with a fairly large head. Long limbs and toes. Smooth skins with warts on sides of back. Coloration is beige to light grey with dark green to brown blotches. Sometimes dark triangle behind eyes.
Range and habitat
The species is endemic to Mallorca in the Balearic islands, south-east of Spain. It is only found in the Sierra Tramuntana on the north of the island. Only found in small streams deep in steep sloping limestone mountains.

CITES : Not Listed
Status : The species has a very small range and would probably be extinct without conservation efforts. Some reintroduced populations carry the chytrid fungus.
