Identification
Relatively small species, reaching up to 1.9 cm in length, males smaller than females. Pattern fairly consistant. Yellow dots on black background on back and flanks, legs are bluish-green with large black blotches, smaller near digits.
Range and habitat
The species occurs in South America, from central-eastern Peru (Loreto, Huanuco and Pasco) to western Brazil in Acre. Lives in primary lowland to foothills moist forests, to 1300 meters.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Appendix II
Status : The species has a large range in which large tracts of suitable habitat are still intact. However it is locally intensely collected for the pet trade.
