Identification
The species can grow to 8.5 cm in body length, females being larger than males. Flattened head and body with small ridges on flanks and sides of limbs and scattered warts on skin. Coloration globally brown with very faint mottling.
Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-East Asia, from south Thailand to most of Peninsular Malaysia and northern Sumatra (Indonesia). Found in closed canopy evergreen forests, near streams, up to 1500 m.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not Listed
Status : The species remains fairly common at this time but could be locally declining because of habitat loss. This decline has yet to be quantified.
