Identification
Slender bird with very long and narrow tail. Dull yellow eyes. Plumage uniformly ashy-grey with brown tinge more or less present on wings. Darker mask around face, black legs and bill.
Range and habitat
Species endemic to the interior of Tanzania. Found in open dry woodlands and grasslands, from 1100 to 1800 meters above sea level.

Status : This species has a limited range but its habitat is not threatened and it is rarely collected for the trade. It remains common within its range.
