Identification
Adults can reach a length up to 6.3 cm. Distinct tympanum, conical spine-like warts on top of head. Warty skin on flanks, smoother on back, spiny on legs. Coloration is mostly brown to dark olive-brown, sometimes with clearer belly.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in south-east Asia, from Peninsular Malaysia to Singapore, Borneo, Sumatra and Natuna Islands. Lives in swamp forests and rubber plantations.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not Listed
Status : The species is still locally common where habitat is preserved. Could become threatened by logging due to creation of palm-oil plantations.
