Identification
Very small triangular shaped body with a long rostrum. Legs are very thin and at least 3 times longer than body. Unmistakable. Legs are yellow with red stripes. Body red, thinly striped with yellow.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in the western Atlantic Ocean, from Florida to Brazil and also in the Caribbean Sea. Lives in reef areas, near rocky cracks or sponges, or sea anemones.

Status : This species has a large range and seems to be quite common globally. It doesn’t face any current threats.
