Identification
Very cryptic species with skin flaps on its flanks, limbs and webbed feet to help camouflaging on lichen and tree bark. Coloration grey to beige with indistinct clear and dark mottling.
Range and habitat
South East Asia, from Thailand and Myanmar to Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi and nearby islands. Found around large trees within forests, urban parks and plantations.

Status : The species is widespread and locally abundant within its large range. However relentless collection for the trade has pushed subpopulations very close to extinction.
