Identification
Small species, growing to 3 cm in length with females being slightly larger. Very large yellow eyes with oval pupils. Warty skin on flanks and back, color varying from brown to green mottled with brown, to bluish on flanks. Pointed snout.

Range and habitat
The species is found in South East Asia and is endemic to northern Borneo, occurring in Sarawak, Sabah, Brunei and north Kalimantan. Lives around clear and small rocky streams in primary forests, from 300 to 800 m.

IUCN RED LIST : VULNERABLE
CITES : Not Listed
Status : The species occurs in only six localities within its small range. Most of these localities are threatened by habitat loss and pollution.
