Identification
Females can grow to a body length of 23 cm, males usually up to 15 cm. Males has tubercles on back of head and violet wings. Slender green body with orange stripe on side. Female wingless, green with brown dots, belly spotted white.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-East Asia, in Peninsular Malaysia and on the island of Sumatra (Indonesia). Lives in forests and dense woodlands.

Status : The species’ status hasn’t been assessed. It seems to be common within its range but deforestation could be a long term threat for its survival.
