Identification
The species grows to about 2 cm in length but often smaller. Three color forms are known, each one is very variable. Ground coloration black with yellow to orange wavy lines forming a reticulated pattern. Legs often with green to blue lines.

Range and habitat
The species is endemic to Peru and occurs in the Departamento San Martin, Departamento Loreto and Departamento Ucayali. Lives in hilly and submontane humid forests, primary and secondary, to 1000 m.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Appendix II
Status : The species has a relatively large range and seems to be quite common although some populations could be threatened by habitat loss.
