Identification
Large shrimp species reaching a body length of 25 cm. Very long rostrum and articulated antennae. Coloration bright red with white lines on flanks and white dots on each ventral segments.
Range and habitat
The species is found in north-eastern Pacific Ocean from Unalaska Island and Alaska to California. Lives in rocky and sandy areas from subtidal zone to depths of 480 meters.
