Identification
Aduts can grow to a body length of 2.8 cm, females being slightly smaller, for a weight of 1.7 g. Back is beige-brown, limbs are dull brown, flanks are black. White stripe on lips. Underside is black with numerous bright blue dots.
Range and habitat
The species is endemic to Madagascar and occurs in coastal areas of the northern half of the island. Lives in rainforests, scrubby forests, plantations, gardens, mostly in lowlands.

Status : The species has a large range and can tolerate living in a wide range of habitats as long as important living resources are present.
