Identification
Adults can grow to a wingspan of about 10 to 12 cm, usually smaller. Males has narrower forewings and is darker. Ground coloration greyish-white with prominent dark veins. Black round spots on the exterior sides of both wings.
Range and habitat
This subspecies occurs in peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and nearby islands. Species found in Malaysia, western Indonesia and Philippines. Lives in forested hills and submontane areas.

Status : The species hasn’t been assessed yet. It is mostly found in forest and could become threatened by deforestation. Insular subspecies are most at risk.
