Identification
Adults can grow to an arm-span of 20 cm. Central part of body is quite small, arms are of uniform thickness and round, with blunt ends. Whole body covered with round wart-like tubercles. Coloration is beige to brown with clear rings on arms.

Range and habitat
The species lives in the Indo-Pacific area, from Indonesia to south Japan and central Pacific, south to northern Australia. Lives in shallow rocky and coral reefs down to 70 meters deep.

Status : The species’ status hasn’t been assessed by IUCN but it seems to be common throughout its range and found in a wide variety of habitats.
