Identification
Adults grow up to 2.8 cm in length, females slightly bigger than males. This subspecies has green back and flanks, conspicuous red and yellow markings on legs and white belly with irregular black spotting and streaking.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in western equatorial Africa, from Sierra Leone to Nigeria and Cameroon. This subspecies from southern Ivory Coast to Nigeria. Lives in clearings and marshy areas in degraded forests and farm bush.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species is very adaptable and therefore isn’t facing any major threat despite occasional collecting for trade. Subspecies lamtoensis possibly threatened.
