Identification
Adults can grow to 2 meters in length. Very slender body with prehensile tail and very long pointed head. Coloration is emerald green with black and white interstitial skin. Horizontal pupil. Snout is very elongated, sometimes upturned.

Range and habitat
The species is found in mainland southeast Asia, from Myanmar and Thailand to Cambodia and south Vietnam. Occurs in forests and bushes in humid tropical areas.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN (as A. nasuta)
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species’ status hasn’t been assessed on its own yet but it appears to be common within its range. Locally captured for the wildlife trade. Most known Ahaetulla nasuta in the trade probably belong to this species instead.
