Identification
Small arboreal frog reaching up to 2.8 cm in length. Pointed snout, reddish eyes with large oval pupil. Smooth skin. Coloration is bright green with light belly. Purple-violet band on each side of head and spotting on back and flanks.

Range and habitat
The species is endemic to Madagascar and can be found in most of the eastern part of the island. Lives in rainforests and swamp forests with Pandanus trees, up to 1400 m.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species is still listed as Least Concern but its numbers are probably declining because of deforestation throughout its range.
