Identification
Fairly big moth reaching a wingspan of up to 7 cm. Body entirely bright yellow with no black markings except on head. Wings yellow with very few black spots. Black tips of forewing with two rows of blue dots.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-East Asia, from south Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand to Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo. The subspecies lives in the Indochinese region. Found in woodlands, tropical forests and grasslands.

Status : The status of this species hasn’t been assessed but it seems to be numerous in its wide range. Declines possible because of deforestation.
