Identification
Adults can grow to a snout-vent length of 14 cm with equally long tail. Large eyes with vertical slit-like pupils, row of small spines over eyes. Coloration variable, from light grey to greenish brown, often mottled and marbled.
Range and habitat
The species occurs in the Pacific Islands, in New Caledonia, Iles Belep and Ile des Pins, mostly in scattered localities. Lives in gallery and closed forests, from sea level to 500 meters.

IUCN RED LIST : VULNERABLE
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species has a very small range which is mostly discontinuous. It is endemic to a small group of islands and faces loss of habitat.
