Identification
Adults can reach about 3 cm in length. Dorsal skin granular, no webbing in between toes. Coloration black with blue spotting on belly and lower flanks, two yellow longitudinal bands on flanks and orange speckling on back.
Range and habitat
The species occurs in South America and is endemic to Peru, being only found in the Rio Huallaga valley, so far in only two locations. Lives in premontane forests close to streams, from 380 to 1000 meters.

Status : The species is still poorly known in the wild but seems to have a very small range and is globally threatened by habitat destruction.
