Identification
One of the smallest species of its genus, reaching up to 3.5 cm in length. Large brown eyes. Resembles tree bark or lichen. Coloration is brown-grey with striped legs. Cream rump, light beige to grey top of head, snout and upper back.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in south-east Asia, from the Assam states in eastern India to South China, south to Peninsular Malaysia and Sumatra. Lives in tropical and subtropical forests, in low vegetation, up to 1800 meters.

Status : The species is dependent on undisturbed forest which makes it very vulnerable to habitat loss and deforestation within its whole range.
