Identification
The species can grow up to 7.7 cm in length for females, less for males. Coloration is bright green with brown supra-tympanic skin fold. White-yellow lateral stripe on lower flanks. Belly is white, sometimes with spots, darker on sides.

Range and habitat
The species is endemic to Taiwan and only occurs in the provinces of Taipei, Taoyuan and Ilan in the northern part of the Island. Lives in forests, plantations, orchards, in hilly areas, from 400 to 600 meters.

IUCN RED LIST : NEAR THREATENED
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species has a very small range. It is threatened by the loss of breeding grounds, especially paddy fields, for establishing cultivated areas.
