Identification
This species can reach a body length of 6.5 cm for females and slightly more than 5 cm for males. Slender body and long legs. Coloration is grey-beige to chestnut with darker brown markings on back and dark tympanum.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in eastern Asia and is endemic to Taiwan, being found in the central and northern parts of the island. Lives in broadleaf forests, cultivated areas, at altitudes below 1000 m.

Status : The species has a relatively small range and is threatened by urbanization and loss of habitat due to pollution and draughts.
